    Granny Cake ~ Mix 1 1/2 c sugar, 2 c plain flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 eggs and 1 20 oz. crushed pineapple in its own juice; together and pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle the top with 1 C. brown sugar and 1 C. chopped pecans. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cook the 1 c evaporated milk, 1/2 c sugar, 1 stick margarine and 1 tsp vanilla until mixture comes to a rolling boil. Pour the cooked milk mixture over the entire cooked cake. Refrigerate
