"Wonder" by R.J. Palacio ... Best. Book. Ever. It's a must read for every fourth, fifth, or sixth grader!

Cool Bulletin Board idea to "spotlight" a student or famous person. I would do both. Maybe every week a different actor, playwright, designer, etc to research to extra credit or a weekly report, and every now and then a student, to make them feel special having been up on the same wall as a big name.

Perfect bulletin board for middle & high school

This person's entire Flickr series is great. I really want to have engaging display boards like this and change my displays constantly. Gahhh so good.

cooking theme idea - stirring up something - door decoration for fundraiser, etc.

PTO 5: This bulletin board on reading is a great way to get the students to work or core concepts of reading. They can choose from any option under fluency, awareness, comprehension, and expand vocabulary. Each topic has multiple options beneath them to work on the main topic such as reread text, identify characters, summarize text, and use figurative language.

Taco 'bout a great class bulletin board idea...maybe change it to "taco 'bout a great book" and have students write book reviews on their taco
