HELL YES! Meatballs in Mushroom Sauce. The secret to this recipe is adding nutmeg to the meatballs. I wasn't too sure that I was going to like it but it was sooooo goooood! I would, however, decrease the amount of butter in the recipe and maybe used half of nutmeg suggested. I put over some rice and it was golden!
1 lb ground beef, about 15% lean 1/3 cup milk 1/3 cup breadcrumbs 1 tsp salt 1 shallot, minced ¼ tsp pepper ½ minced shallot ¾ cup Barefoot Pinot Noir 1 cup water 1 tsp cornstarch 1 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp grape jelly 1 tbsp butter
