Wedded to War, by Jocelyn Green (Coming in July 2012). Inspired by the true story of those who pioneered the way for women to nurse during the Civil War. They gave up wealth, comfort, and their reputations only to find they'd be fighting more than just the Confederacy in order to care for the sick and wounded. Looking forward to this discussion at Book club in May 2013

"Wedded to War" (Heroines Behind the Lines) by Jocelyn Green // This is the 2nd time I've read this book. It's the first in her series. LOVE IT. Just cannot get enough historical fiction. :-)

one of my favorite places!

My novel shall be titled: The Brief Wondrous HAHAHA of Madness. From the sound of it, it'll be an autobiography.

Glimpses of the photo shoot for the cover of A Beauty So Rare, and of the history behind the novel.

If you don’t know what to read right now…book club books

Amazon is offering my Civil War novel Wedded to War at 48% off right now. I'm not sure how long this sale will last. This will be a pre-order, since it doesn't release until July 1, but if you were planning to get it, this is a great price! This novel has lots of great historical detail in it--homeschooling mamas, consider this to supplement your history lessons!
