The serval, Leptailurus Serval, known in Afrikaans as Tierboskat, tiger-forest-cat, is a medium-sized African wild cat. DNA studies have shown that the serval is closely related to the African golden cat and the Caracal. It is widely distributed South of the Sahara and was once also found in Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria. White Serval are very rare, never having been found in the wild. #animals #wildanimals #endangered #cuteanimals

Beautiful creatures - with around an estimated 20,000 left in the wild, they are right along side the polar bear for need of protection. The West African lion is considered critically endangered with only an estimated 406 left in the wild.

"Albino bobcat" - While this isn't a fake cat, it *isn't* a bobcat. It's just a white Maine Coon breed domestic cat. Also, if you go to the Flickr site the image is originally from, it says nothing about the cat being a bobcat and is even tagged "Maine coon".
