Sharpies work realy well even with a light-pink pointe shoe. I have gone through alot of pair of pointe shoes now and I love to sit down and just draw on them. If how ever you are going to do very intricate designs, do no only use a very thin-tip sharpie, but also prime the silk wiht modge podge, or clear nail polish so the Sharpie ink doesnt leak into parts you do not wish it to.
Wish this was my closet!
one day i will see a ballet, complete with laser show and wild music, and i will think "i could have done that first"
