Succulent container gardens can transform bland outdoor spaces into inviting living areas. In turn, the plants benefit from warmth radiated by your home’s walls and hardscape and require little water or upkeep. Plant something like this in the birdbath?

So in Love with the color of these suculents!

Succulents are the ideal plant assemblage to create incredible gardens inside or out that thrive and grow in a prehistorically cool way.  Just avoid them in your bedroom, and keep cactus plants outside- too aggressive for inside your home!!!  (image via latimes)

If you could have the fountain actually run water with water friendly plants, I'd be in heaven!

Bright green sedum grows in the center top and repeats in the lowest tier. Crassula perforata forms a fluffy, reddish purple ring around the top tier. In the middle tier: more crassulas, green-purple Senecio jacobsenii, blue Senecio mandraliscae and a type of yellow-variegated aeonium called Kiwi. Silvery blue ruschia cascades from the lowest tier, and alongside it is a type of green and orange crassula called Campfire. The photo was taken at EuroAmerican Propagators in Bonsall, Calif.
