Stuffed taco shells-these were absolutely delicious!! Added a couple large spoonfuls of chunky Rotel to the filling before stuffing the shells. Added some sour cream over the top when they were done and they were perfection on a plate!!!! Bacon Taco Shell ~ 4 strips of bacon (your choice of flavor). Prep: Just create an overlapping bacon “fabric” by weaving the strips together. Drape the shell over a taco-shaped mold (such as aluminum foil or small Pyrex bowls) to form the signature crunchy taco shape. Cook the sheet in the oven at 400 degrees until browned and crispy. Taco Stuffed Shells - I doubled the recipe, but I needed about 28 shells. I drained the fat from the meat, added 1.5 cups water with the taco mix, simmered for 5-10 mins, then added the cream cheese until melted. The casserole dish holds 16 shells, so I froze the remainder.
KALE AND RICOTTA STUFFED SHELLS An option is to use whole wheat lasagna noodles trimmed to 6″-6 1/2″, place about 1/4 cup of the filling on one end and roll. Place in the casserole laying flat, top with sauce and bake. I call these lasagna ruffles.
