The tour of the Ohio Village was fantastic! The staff dressed in period clothes gave a wonderful tour. The Historical Center had more than we imagined. So much history of Ohio, and the items from the 50s and 60s brought back wonderful memories. We really enjoyed all the different cars. Use your AAA card for discounts.

Historical 4th Street in Massillon, Ohio

Lanier Mansion in Madison, IN. In 1817, his family moved to Madison, then one of the most important towns in the new state of Indiana, and there his father opened a dry goods store. His successes as a financier would eventually enable him to loan the state of Indiana large sums of money so that the state could equip its troops during the Civil War. Lanier died in New York City on the 27th of August 1881. Duggan Library has 1st edition of "Sketch of the Life of J.F.D. Lanier."
