Awesome idea: Baby’s footprints as nursery art

I absolutely love this idea for keeping track of your baby’s growth while creating adorable artwork for your nursery. Jill, a mom of three, who writes the blog Barnes Yard, came up with this idea after being inspired by a print she saw on Pinterest.

What a great idea for a card photo--not just an invitation, but maybe the family holding "Merry Christmas" or some greeting.

Amazing how this photographer was able to get the face, hands, and feet all together in one small frame. Just beautiful composition on this one!

Have baby photo session each month. Then on the photo, edit in his memorable moments that happened. The modern baby book - love it!

YES PLEASE! Crafty Chelsea: Tips for Better Baby Footprint Art with Halloween Footprint Pictures

I didn't take a photo of mine, instead just mailed them off for mothers day anyway. But it was a total flop for us. Probably becasue I did it wrong lol. Had the kids step straight on the paper vs. having their feet be big toys out. SO I cute them off the original paper and glued them to paper. I also put one childs footprint over the other. It was cute, but I will do again like the photo lol
