Christmas Cranberry Mojitos: Another tasty thing from the world of alcoholic beverages we can turn around. Using my go-to standards to replace the bite of the booze (apple cider vinegar and/or ginger ale, both diluted by a white soda or soda water) can replace any champagne or gin based beverage. The vinegar is also present in many weight-loss tricks!
Strawberry Mojitos 1.5 ounces of simple syrup about 3 fresh strawberries about 4-5 fresh spearmint sprigs (chopped if you prefer smaller mint pieces in your cocktail) soda water 1/2 lime 2 ounces of light rum
Frozen Cherry Mojitos 1 lb frozen, pitted cherries 3 cups crushed ice 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves 1 cup white rum 1 cup lime simple syrup lime wedges and fresh cherries to garnish Place the frozen cherries, ice, mint, rum, and lime simple syrup in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into chilled glasses and top with crushed ice. Garnish with lime and cherries.
