This adorable kid-size dome tent was made from hula hoops and bed sheets. The whole project cost less than $10!

modifications: sew velcro closures at the top so the hoop stays complete. Tie the jute rope around the hoop positioned in between each sheet when assembled.

Kids play tent. this comes from a lengthy tutorial, but could use bed sheet or fabric and hula hoop. hang sheet, insert hula hoop where desired, mark spot where hula hoop goes, sew/glue hula holding strips (velcro if removable), some way for hanging tent, add some accessories, etc....
