+~+~ Antique Photograph ~+~+ Wedding Portrait of couple, Chicago c. 1890. Her gown is of white, sheer cotton and its bodice is made in the fashionable "pouter pidgeon" style of the day. The skirt is trimmed with a large flounce of alternating strips of fabric and lace. Instead of a veil, she wears a white bow. Her narrow waist is encircled by a wide satin ribbon, and its streamers hang down her back. She carries a lovely bouquet of roses and ferns tied up with a wide ribbon.
