A settee made from an old bed! The headboard is the back of the settee, and the footboard was cut into two pieces and used for the arms. So cute!

UM yep this is awesome!!!!! And It would cost me $5 plus a few hand me down 2x4 then a few more dollars on paint. Overall a cheap project and bragging rights. After construction I would make a bottom cushion and pillows that are Euro pillow shape with a few simple throw pillows. I would use a bring modern fabric to off set the shabby-chic look.

love the details, the silver nailhead trim and the repeating pattern on the pillow case and duvet.

Dresser Turned Bench- might take this idea and throw my own spin on it. make it lower to the ground. and ea. kid a window seat in their br. use the drawer to put blankets or as storage... a throw pillow to match the seat and maybe a little bookshelf on the side to hold a few of their favourite stories.

Use baby's crib to make a bench. Great idea to repurpose a sentimental item. I might have to actually try this one day. I was always going to keep my son's crib on the off chance that he might want to use it himself one day, but seeing as though they are banning all drop side cribs I might have to rethink that!

Headboards & footboards can be turned into chalkboards with added hanging hooks.
