Blessed is the Moon Goddess, She who watches over our sleeping forms and whose mysteries reside in the shadows. May she light your way in darkness and guide you through the night.
~moon goddess~ Luna, the goddess of the moon, has three phases of her life in full, crescent and new moon. At the moment, she is taking a short nap in her new moon phase before another cycle of her life begins. At times, even if we are aware that time will never stop and there are always things waiting for us to accomplish. Yet It is worthwhile to take a break and catch our breath before the next journey.

Goddess of the Ocean and the New Year. "Iemanjá" known as "Yemanjá" or "Janaína" in Brazilian Candomblé and Umbanda religions. And Yemaya" in the folklore of Yoruba and Afro-Caribbean. ~ loved and pinned by http://www.shivohamyoga.nl/ #divine #goddess
Yemanjá or Janaína in Brazilian Candomblé. She is the ocean, the essence of motherhood, and a fierce protector of children.
Yemaya - The Ocean Mother, Mother of Dreams and Secrets, Holy Queen Sea, The Womb of Creation, Mother of Pearl, Stella Maris (star of the sea), also Mama Watta (Mother of Waters). She is often viewed as a very beautiful mermaid having dark skin and very full breasts. Her full breasts show that she is a nurturer of us all.
Goddess of the Ocean and the New Year, "Lemanjá" known as "Yemanjá" or "Janaína" in Brazilian Candomblé and Umbanda religions; "Yemaya" in the folklore of Yoruba and Afro-Caribbean. I LOVE this Goddess, as she often shows up in a Goddess Card spread I pull when seeking guidance for myself or another. When this goddess is pulled during a Doreen Virtue's Goddess Card reading (the only deck I use for intuitive readings) she is described as portending a "Golden Opportunity." I'll take it!
Yemeya goddess She may be called upon for help during child birth as she is also a fertility goddess, she loves children. You may invoke her for all things to do with motherhood and raising children, protection for unborn babies, help in a crisis to do with a child, She's an eternal parent! Also for all Womyns issues, Witchcraft, washing away sorrows, acquiring ancient wisdom, protecting the home, for beauty, good fortune, good health and for rain. Yemeya rules over the ocean surface and is the
