Visual Directions {Freebie} I really love the idea of using visual instructions for students. This way if they missed a step or didn't understand what I said they could have a visual of the process for the activity we're doing. This would be a great way to help students who are visual learners as well as ELL students. APA Citation: Ricca. (2012, January 26). Mrs. Ricca's Kindergarten: Visual Directions {Freebie}. This "I'm done..." board is a great way to remind students of their choices once they have completed the current activity. By having this posted as a bulletin board or poster within the room, students would have a visual reminder of the acceptable options they have while awaiting transition to the next activity. This procedure would help maintain order as well as keep faster students busy.

Must Do / May Do...I like that so they can see what they can do once they are done with the necessary things!

Pinner says, "It can be soooo time consuming to answer the questions...Can we use markers?, Do we turn this in?, Is this a talking activity? I love using these assignment choice signs to answer those questions without me doing the work. Once I give directions for an activity, I quickly place checks and X's by the cards and my students know exactly where to look for the answer."

I'm not sure why I still have to say this. Maybe a poster & cute saying will help them remember.

Great Verbs to help explain Blooms..... and create activities for higher level thinking skills in the classroom.

I really like this idea: we're all the same on the inside! True, it can miss the point for those who can't get enthusiastic about eggs.....

Noise Meter is a cool way to remind students the correct noise level that they should be using! A.C.

Class Promise would be cute done like this with different fonts
