In 1892, Professor Grimhatch was traversing the wilds of Scotland when he inexplicably found himself in Faerie. Being the well-travelled and astute fellow that he is, he was able to not only find his way back to our world (through tricking the fairies in a way he never explained publicly), but was also granted a parting gift by his mischievous hosts. From then on, he was able to see the small doors into Faerie that the wee folk had placed in our world, unseen by most human eyes. Our unique fairy doors are based on the descriptions and sketches of some of the portals the Professor recorded over the years after his visit to Faerie. They are handcrafted from quality polymer clay and come with non-permanent mounting squares to adhere them safely to a wall. Our doors are for indoor use only and should be kept out of reach of pets and small children as they should not be ingested. Each one is one-of-a-kind; no molds have been used in their construction. This door measures approximately 4" tall, 3.5" wide, and up to 1" deep. We hope that the individual personality of each door may invite a compatible fairy to come and visit wherever you may choose to put it. While fairies do not keep cats and dogs as pets, they do have children who bring home all manner of creatures. Many a fairy parent has succumbed to the phrase, "Can we keep him?" In addition to the pet door, this fairy entrance has a glow-in-the-dark window.
