"I am" boards - Great for finding Adjectives!

"i am" boards ... great for teaching adjectives ... character education

Give each student a sheet of paper with every classmate's name on it. They had to write a nice sentence about everyone in the class. Then each student has 20+ nice things written about him or her. This activity was great because some of the students in my class don't hear about how great they are at home. Keep them in a frame to preserve them. The kids will love hearing about how great they are from classmates.

Sit girl on chair in front of white board and have others write a positive phrase about them, then take a picture. Don't let them see it...till they get the photo!

This is What we do!! :) i loved it

The Best Part of Me Project. Read the book "The Best Part of Me." Have students pick their favorite body part and write a descriptive paragraph or poem. No guidelines, no rubric. Take a black and white photo and zoom in on their part. Place writing piece and photo on black and white scrapbook paper. Perfect for a bulletin board!

Using wrapping paper is my biggest design secret. Look at all of the options that are available to create the look that you want! Bulletin board paper is fine, but wrapping paper comes in so many designs and colors and does the same thing as bulletin board paper. This gives you the “WOW!” you want in your classroom!
