Mrs. Ubogy's terrarium, from Time-Life's "Foliage House Plants" book, 1972, by James Crockett of the famed WGBH Boston show, "Crockett's Victory Garden." This show, and my maternal line's love of plants, was the imprint that started it all.

Desert Plant Terrarium - i actually found a new store in Denver that has desert Terrariums .... they are gorgeous! I hadn't even thought about the fact that Denver has a desert climate! I may have to switch up the game plan and go desert style.

Terrarium inspiration: Moss, stones, a few small plants. Use tall hurricane vase but build terrarium at an angle like a hillside :)
