A small lean protein like chicken, turkey, fish or some raw veggies,w/ low fat&cals,lightly dip in,&for ex: yogurt ranch or any low cal & fat…as well as Low Glycemic Levels. Don't eat to feel full…think "light"!

Well, good thing November is over lol!! && what's with February...Who eats biscuits and gravy that much?
hhmmm, i already never do fast food,candy, chocolate, biscuits, gravy, juice, soda, or sweets; but at 58 i don't think i'll ever be bikini ready again !
I would have to rework some of these for myself... The idea is really nice though (who eats biscuits and gravy so much they have to ban it??? Plus I never eat fast food).
NOTE: I am not pinning this because I think it's a good idea. I'm pinning this because it's stupid. If you stop drinking alcohol for one month, then just start drinking again and cut out fast food, etc, how would that get you bikini ready by June? You're only cutting out each thing for one month.. Or...do you cut that thing out and continue to leave it out until June? THAT might work. Idk. Whatever.

I found this weekly challenge guide on Pinterest a while back (originally posted on tumblr.com) and posted it to my "Healthy" board. While I'm not resolving anything, I do always have my eye on health and clean up my eating at this time of year, using little tricks like this. I definitely appreciate quick and easy tips I can hang around our house to remind me to stay better on track than I have been these past few months. Yoga was really the only constant exercise for me since Thanksgiving, but I finally went to my Master's Swim class last night, after an absence that was longer than I'd like to admit. It felt so good to be back in the water, I've no idea why I stopped for so long. Does anyone else have this issue? You're feeling great, on the right track with eating and moving, fitting happily into your skinny jeans, and then boom! A little slippage begins and suddenly you find yourself not only off the wagon, but the wagon sped up without you and is now halfway across the country. The slippage for me was getting pneumonia over the summer. I mean really, who gets pneumonia in the middle of the summer? That's right, this girl! Not to mention my food hobby has led me to a food blog which was derived from years spent in the kitchen cooking and baking countless, calorie-laden treats. Never trust a skinny cook, right? Despite shipping out many of those goodies to teacher work rooms, plenty of it still ended up right in my less than tight little tummy. Poor excuses, but my skinny jeans are currently hiding their sorry butt in the back of my closet and it's time to let them see the light of day again. On the bright side, at least my fatter pants are still not "mom jeans", but still... So, Meatless Mondays and all the rest on this handy chart, keeping up with yoga, back to swimming, and cleaner eating... that's my current plan. How are you keeping on (or getting back up on) the healthy track this year??

99 problems but working out aint one
I feel like I have been in a bit of a funk lately, especially now that Christmas is over. Now it's a new year and I can have a new beginning! I decided last Thursday that I really have no reason to be in a funk and I started to work out that day! Why wait until the new year to start when I could start that day. I need to stop letting little things bother me, appreciate family and friends more and just enjoy everything I have. It's been 6 days since I've decided to actually start taking care of myself again. I've worked out each day and I already feel so much better! I'm posting pics to instagram to hold myself accountable and possibly motivate others! IG is a huge motivator for me, love all my blog friends/IG friends who post their workouts on there. I've ran and done some at home exercises the past 6 days and I'm sore! I came across a CrossFit Mom's blog and she posts workouts that you can do at home on her blog Mon-Fri. This is the first one I did and it was killer, I loved it! I will be doing her workouts and my own. I think I am going to start doing a Fit Friday post as well! Including new exercises I come across that I really like and to track my progress. I am also changing the way I eat and what I drink. I'm not getting any younger and I do turn the big 3-0 this year. WORKOUT FOR TODAY!! I also want to be a better wife to B and momma for C. I don't think people can change who they are but I think there is always room for improvement! I am looking forward to Spring and Cullen turning TWO! & getting A.B.C. Garage started again. I'm looking forward to a fun Summer spent outside with Cullen. & returning to A.B.C. Creations in late August. Billy is always working hard to grow his HockeyShape business and we are hoping it takes off even more this year. So much to look forward to! Speaking of changes, my blog is getting a face lift!!
