Bread and Tulips - A cosseted, unhappy housewife (Licia Maglietta) who's taken for granted by her philandering, self-centered husband (Antonio Catania) finds "bella fortuna" when she hitchhikes to Venice and starts to construct a brand-new life for herself.
Bread and Tulips- I just love this movie. I just watched it again. Its Italian with English subtitles. Its such a wonderful feel good movie. I love the story, I love the acting, I just love everything about it. Its about a mother who's family takes her for granted. While they were on vacation, their tour bus makes a stop. The bus leaves without her and her family doesn't even notice. She has a wonderful adventure without them that changes her life.
“One more time? For the audience?” he says. His voice isn’t angry. It’s hollow, which is worse. Already the boy with the bread is slipping away from me.I take his hand, holding on tightly, preparing for the cameras, and dreading the moment when I will finally have to let go.
White Chicks (2004) After botching a drug bust, two black FBI agents find themselves consigned to babysitting a pair of empty-headed socialites -- who end up being the targets of kidnappers. To flush out the baddies, the men pose as the white party girls.
Keeping the Faith very cute romantic comedy starring Ben Stiller and Edward Norton as a rabbi and a priest (sounds like a bad joke but the movie is good) who hears from their childhood friend Jenna Elfman and the love triangle starts. The script is well written and the comedic timing excellent between these great actors. Definitely worth watching.
