Storm chasers capture jaw-dropping footage of Wyoming super cell thunderstorm #supercell #thunderstorm
Storm chasers capture a massive low-precipitation supercell thunderstorm in Wyoming. These types of storms (aka motherships or LP supercell for short) usually create tornadoes.
A Supercell Storm Cloud Forming over Wyoming Video Credit: Basehunters (BasehuntersChasing) Music: Empire (Shakira)
The photo was taken by the Basehunters storm chasers group, who are "committed to capturing the most unique and close-up tornado footage on the market," according to their Facebook page. It shows the rotating updraft of a supercell thunderstorm over eastern Wyoming, according to Weather Channel meteorologist Jon Erdman.
On Sunday, storm chasers caught a supercell thunderstorm taking shape in Wyoming. It is absolutely spectacular — Not science-fiction...
Actual time lapse footage of a super cell in WY, totally amazing. Mother nature is crazy awesome.
How do supercell storm clouds form? Pictured above is a time-lapse video taken last Sunday detailing the formation of one such violent supercell in eastern Wyoming, USA. Starting as part of a large and dark thunderstorm complex, the supercell comes together along with a large rotating updraft of air known as a mesocyclone. Mesocyclones form during rapid changes in wind speed and direction with height and can produce torrential rain, damaging hail, swirling winds, and sometimes tornadoes.
Stormchasers captured this footage of a supercell thunderstorm developing over Wyoming. Supercells are the least common thunderstorms but are responsible for most of the violent tornadoes in the U.S. In addition to extreme winds, they also dump torrential rain and hailstones that are bigger than golf balls causing flash floods and a whole lot of damage. Their rising, spinning vortices of air rotating updrafts called mesocyclones can reach speeds of over 100mph (160 km/h) and sometimes last hours
"When the weather turned violent and stormy, Lori Mehmen, who lives in the small farming town of Orchard in northeastern Iowa, looked out her front door and saw a funnel cloud bearing down — and evidently had the presence of mind to grab her digital camera and capture this shot before taking cover."

This Low Precipitation Supercell develops with tops climbing to 60,000 ft; the rotation was so great that it formed a beautiful swirling barber pole formation which rapidly transformed into a lovely mesocyclonic (rotating) cloud. WOW!

WOW! Tornado & Mother Nature
Super Cell, Nature, Storms Cloud
Supercells are rotating updrafts within severe thunderstorm conditions. The supercells usually produce huge amounts of hail, torrential rainfall, strong winds, and substantial downbursts and are often carriers of giant hail.
Mother Nature sure creates awesome entities.. Supercells: Supercells are gigantic, spinning storms that have the tendency to be extremely destructive and create tornadoes. Supercells ...
Supercells Much like tornadoes—supercells have the tendency to spin around a lot, but also—and more importantly—because supercells can actually create tornadoes. Supercells are the most dangerous of the four major storm types, in addition to being the scariest to look at. Thankfully, they’re also the most rare, and tend to be confined to the central United States during the springtime.
Supercells are rotating updrafts within severe thunderstorms; they’re big, and scary. They can appear anywhere in the world given the right meteorological conditions.
A Supercell is basically a stronger, more tornado-enabled version of a regular storm cell. Much like tornadoes—Supercells have the tendency to spin around a lot, but also—and more importantly—because Supercells can actually create tornadoes. If you remember one thing after reading this article, let it be this: stay the hell away from things that can do that. http://listverse.com/2013/04/28/10-ridiculously-cool-natural-phenomenon/
A supercell is a thunderstorm that is characterized by the presence of a mesocyclone: a deep, persistently rotating updraft. Supercells are the overall least common storms but have the potential to be the most severe. Supercells can dominate the local climate up to 32 kilometres (20 mi) away. Supercells are most common in the Great Plains of the United States, an area known as Tornado Alley. 15 Natural Phenomena You Won't Believe Are Real
Super-cells are rotating updrafts within severe thunderstorms; they’re big, and scary. They can appear anywhere in the world given the right meteorological conditions, but most times they appear in the Great Plains of the US, last generally 2-3 hours and they sometimes split in 2, with the two resulting storms going in opposite directions. The supercells usually produce huge amounts of hail, torrential rainfall, strong winds, and substantial downbursts and are often carriers of giant hail.

Shakespeare includes the theme of weather (especially thunder) to show that something bad is happening, and to paint a gloomy and dark setting for the audience. Also, the thunder is only described right before Macbeth goes to meet the witches, which represents that the witches are doing evil and unnatural things that go against the norm. Similar to how thunder goes against the normal sunshine and happy weather.
