    Paint a piece of wood whatever color your like, draw your state, hammer in nails on the line you drew, and then hammer nails in a heart shape over your city. then, take string, thread, yarn, or whatever and loop it around the nails, alternating between the border of the state and the heart. need to try this. another great gift idea.

Made this, as Oregon of course. Painted the background wood green, gave as a Christmas gift to my dad, who's had a love affair with Oregon ever since we moved there in 1980. Turned out lovely.

i think this is a doable craft for me seeing as how the only skill involved would be putting the nails in the right place
