The 9/11 Teardrop Memorial was a gift to USA from Russia; dedicated "To the Struggle Against World Terrorism."  It stands across the bay from NYC in Bayonne, NJ, within sight of the Statue of Liberty and where the Twin Towers formerly stood. At its dedication in 2006, President Bill Clinton said, "I would like to thank the people of Russia for this gift of solidarity in the war on terror. The Teardrop Memorial - It was a gift to America from the country of Russia and is dedicated "To the Struggle Against World Terrorism." It is in Bayonne, NJ. Around the base of The Teardrop were the names of all those who died on – including 26 Russians.

Twin Towers, NYC - still get choked up. Glad I had the opportunity to visit the towers prior to 9-11

World Trade Center and Statue of Liberty. We must all remember those symbols. - I have a picture from the base of Lady Liberty of me with the towers behind me :)
