Building Word Families puzzle game. This is a great activity for the students to make words and be able to push their sounds.
Great way to teach reading - word family eggs - I changed this up a little for speech therapy. Each egg I wrote on in sharpie marker and I did initial and final sounds that they could twist the egg to create new words that started or ended with their sound. I give them these while I'm working one on one with another student

Literacy station ideas. toss the pom-pom into the muffin tin. Read the word family on which the pom-pom lands. Write a word from the word family on a paper. Continue as time allows. Could work for older kids using prefixes and suffixes - maybe on dice?
