What a beautiful place to hike.

Feeling like you're a million miles in the heart of the Earth's forests- not a soul in sight except those of the trees and animals living peacefully. Look around and appreciate the aloneness, the silence and the freshness of nature. Take a hike.

Spend time in nature; it's so healing. If you're like me, however, you may need to bring a friend and that's okay if you don't feel safe enough to walk alone. Nature is one of the greatest healers of all!

View of Half Dome, Yosemite I have hiked this trail with friends a number of times. It starts at Glacier Point and goes 8 miles past 3 waterfalls, down into the valley. The most memorable end to the hike involved a bottle of chilled, hard cider. Nothing had ever tasted so good before, nor has since!
