Saw a picture of a planter like this, and loved it, but couldn't find plans. I did find a kit online, but it was $300-not to mention shipping- and I am way to cheap. So I drew up a sketch and built it with a friend. Strawberries are in place and I'm just waiting on the summer to make some magic for me. Total for the wood and building supplies: $65. Soil and compost to fill it: $50. Strawberries: $21. Total = less than half the price of the kit. I'm ready to build another for herbs.
