Oz Park fans are all atwitter over the arrival of Dorothy, and Toto too, the fourth and final "Wizard of Oz" sculpture installed recently in Oz Park (at the North Entrance across from Orchard Street). The cast bronze sculpture was designed by John Kearney. Look closely and you'll see Dorothy feeding Toto a biscuit. And, don't miss her red shoes.

Oz Park is a 13 acre city park near the corner of Halsted and Armitage in Chicago. This area is now some of the most expensive in the city, however in the 1950's it was run-down. Children's Hospital and DePaul University threatened to leave the area unless Mayor Daley (pere) did something.
