    DIY wall decor. Would love to take this inexpensive styrofoam idea as canvas and join it with the idea of stenciled-on designs after covering it with cheap, easily-painted-over fabric.

    12 x 12 scrapbooking paper glued to styrofoam. Cheap and cute dorm decor!

    Styrofoam covered with fabric. and hot glued together. cheap and easy to make and easy to hang. Just put a nail in the wall and shove the styrofoam through it.

    Instructions for building a cornice board- foam insulation board instead of plywood, and a hot glue gun instead of nails.

    Such an obvious solution that I never thought of doing - use a Fitted Sheet as a Box Spring Cover!

    Buy a cheap clock, hot glue fabric rosettes around it... Don't love the flowers, but it's a great tip to use whatever one likes!
