    i love New York City!!! it's like the Hongkong of the west. i hope some day i could return to the big apple & explore more its every street & nook. plus get the chance to see Ed Westwick again.. it's a fun & lively city. shopper's haven!

New York subway car. This is one of the past models, note the circular black fan from the day before air conditioned car. It use to be brutal, the only hope you had of feeling mildly cool during rush hour when the cars were pack like sardines was to stand right under the fan to catch the breeze.

230 fifth restaurant and bar in New York. Went here in the beginning of Spring; it was so cold that that They had racks of loaner coats and robes for the patrons!

The 1924 American Standard Building at 40 West 40th Street by Raymond Hood & André Fouilhoux. The building was built in 1923-1924 for the American Radiator Co., a heater manufacturing company. The 36-story building had one of the first set-back pyramidal silhouettes in the city, and another influenced by Saarinen’s entry on the Chicago Tribune competition.
