tomato basil parmesan soup for the crock pot. Made this today. Subtle tomato flavor. Lightened it by using 1c skim milk and 1c half and half. Didnt stir in Parm but just grated some on top before serving. Great with simple grilled cheese sandwiches. Kids liked the soup. Though not likr Norstrom Cafe's tomato soup (which has something like 2 cups of heavy cream), I will make again.
Crock pot chicken curry - This is delicious! I added a LOT of diced carrots. We serve with basmati rice and a side of cucumber, tomato and onion salad. Diet friendly, but portion control is the real issue here :)
Crock Pot Chicken Parmesan Ingredients: 1 (25 oz). jar spaghetti sauce 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 1/2 cups Italian seasoned Panko bread crumbs 1 egg 1/2 cup milk 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. dried oregano 1/2 tsp. dried basil 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 cup (or more if you like) shredded mozzarella cheese 1 package of spaghetti noodles (for serving)
Easy & Delicious. The chicken literally fell off the bone when I lifted it out of the crock pot to put on a serving platter. (PS-I threw some carrots in too, they were amazing, the kids even ate them)
