The Lost Key
Nothing found for 2012 09 24 The Lost Key
Over the weekend, I lost the key to our shed. Our lost key reminded me of something far more important. Here are my thoughts.
"What if His people prayed / And those who bear His name / Would humbly seek His face / And turn from their own way? / / And what would happen if we prayed / For those raised up to lead the way / Then maybe kids in school could pray / And unborn children see light of day..." -- from What If His People Prayed? by Casting Crowns [see 2 Chronicles 7:14]

We mustn't ever underestimate the importance of prayer. Prayer changes our hearts, because we become most receptive to God's voice when we seek to communicate with Him.
Pastors may wonder if they preached a good sermon. Small group leaders may question their effectiveness. Counselors and caregivers feel might feel unsure they said the right thing. Anyone who serves others is likely to ask: “Did I make a difference?” Our Prayer for Pastors will help you to live under “The Smile of the Father.”
Cool graphic - song lyrics - "What if His people prayed / And those who bear His name / Would humbly seek His face / And turn from their own way? / / And what would happen if we prayed / For those raised up to lead the way? / Then maybe kids in school could pray / And unborn children see light of day..." -- from What If His People Prayed? by Casting Crowns [see 2 Chronicles 7:14] Wonderful reminder Prayer Warriors!
Prayer - If you're willing to believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and if you are willing to accept Him as your savior, then you are invited to pray this prayer with me: Lord Jesus, I know I have been a sinner, please forgive me. Thank You for dying on the cross for me to free me from sin, and grant me new life in you. I accept you as my King for the rest of my days. Please send me the Holy Spirit, and help me live by that Spirit. I'm praying this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
This is my prayers for the hubs. I would love to see this outta him!
