DIY shoebox home decor Here is how I made it! Collect shoeboxes of various sizes. Paint them. Modge podge scrapbook paper on them. Buy wooden letters and paint them. Hot glue letters on. Buy a curtain rod. Hot glue ribbon on boxes. Slide boxes on rod by ribbon !

ideas for hanging pictures. Also: The tip to remember - Artwork should be hung AT EYE LEVEL, either sitting or standing. Too high, and it doesn't feel like it's in the room at all and no one can really enjoy it. Most people hang things way too high. When in doubt, lower is better to make your room pull together.
