How to make a cake mix taste like "from scratch" - Step 1: Look at the directions on the cake mix, Step 2: Add one more egg (or add 2 if you want it to be very rich), Step 3: Use melted butter instead of oil & double the amount, Step 4: Instead of water, use milk. Step 5: Mix well & bake for the time recommended on the box. No one will know it wasn't baked from scratch. ;)
Been searching for a cupcake version of the tiramisu cake I made that has both the mascarpone and whipped cream components. This one has it all plus the lady fingers. Mascarpone on top and chocolate mousse in the middle. Also describes the cone method for filling cupcakes, which is probably better than piping it in.
