Covering 5 gallon buckets with burlap and twine. Great Idea, just perfect for an outback shack! Money saving planters...was wondering what I was going to do with all the plants I want to plant! Has anyone seen recycled tires trio for planters? Kinda cool if ya do it just right. Seen them painted different colors and stacked, with smallest tire on top. I will try to post when I find the pic.

Mushrooms growing out of a bucket!

I have actually done this myself a few years ago.. It works..LPD Start putting in your plants; work the nutrients into your soil. Wet newspapers and put layers around the plants overlapping as you go; cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic; they will not get through wet newspapers.

With these grow buckets you can grow tomatoes, peppers and any number of plants with very minimal effort.
