Homemade laundry detergent. So easy, inexpensive, and my clothes have NEVER felt cleaner! I will never go back to Tide! Also, a little added white vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser, naturally freshens, softens, and reduces static!

I want to make my own washing powder. I hate spending tons of cash on detergent. This recipe uses essential oils so it smells better than unscented or artificial chemically smelling detergent, in my opinion, because I am not sensitive to natural citrus fragrances :0)

Homemade Natural Laundry Detergent Recipe - used 1 bar lav castille soap, 5c ea borax & washing soda. dissolve borax & washing soda b4 adding to big container of water.... Very hard to remedy if it clumps after adding. Do not try to do concentrate- gels too much, and if add water after it sits overnight, the solution separates. Try using baking soda in lieu of borax when borax is gone.
