Kind are characterized by the tones of our voices. Soft tones build gentleness, peace and love, which is pleasant to listening ears and invites the Spirit of the Lord. Calm speech soothes, consoles, and comforts. The more soft and kind our words are, the more loving we are, and the more they and we will be received. "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good" (Ephesians 4:29).
