Valerie Buess was born in Switzerland and is now based in Germany. He has been experimenting with paper for the last twenty years. By twisting, turning, folding paper and sometimes adding some color to her work, she creates organic and often abstract shapes inspired by underwater sea creatures. These sea urchins, coral reefs, algae, and seagrass, all made from recycled books, hint at mysteries of the deep sea and constitute a sculptural world above the surface.

This is a PENCIL Drawing!!!! Unbelievable!!!! Incredible Cat Pencil Sketches by Paul Lung. The beautiful pencil art was created by Hong Kong based graphic artist from Paul Lung. 0.5 mm 4B mechanical pencil and A2 paper are the only attributes of these masterpieces. He doesn’t use eraser and spends up to 60 hours sketching out his pictures. As he often admits people do not believe him and he has to make videos of his work to prove that these art works are not photographs.

At first glance, I thought this was a hologram or a projected image. It amazes me how someone could have the patience to ensure each piece of thread was in place in order to come up with this as the final product. Intensive labor and love for art.

I love this. I so want to try to make this.
