Kastelbell Castle - Val Venosta, South Tyrol, Italy. Kastebell Castle, is a picturesque castle, believed to have been built by the Montalban family during the 11th Century. In 1531 the castle came into the Hendl family who renovated and extended it to become the beautiful and classical castle that it is. In 1956 Kastebell Castle became state property but after years of litigation the Hendl family redeemed it for the sum of 16 Euros. Information from Travelinos.com
