    Watermelon Jalapeño Cooler Garnished with Candied Jalapeños

    Blueberry Coconut Smoothie 4 ounces vanilla yogurt 2 cups frozen blueberries 1/2 cup shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened) 1/2 cup juice (pomegranate, acai or cranberry) 1/2 cup lowfat milk

    Carrot-Mango Smoothie 1 mango, chopped (or 1 1/2 cups frozen mango chunks) 1 cup fresh carrot juice Dash freshly grated nutmeg 1/2 cup ice cubes (omit if using frozen mango) Directions Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth.

    Green Tea Mango Smoothie 1 cup raw spinach 1 large mango, peeled and sliced 1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice 1 medium banana 3/4 inch slice of tofu (1/4 block) or, 1/2 cup cooked quinoa 1 cup brewed green tea (brew the night before and store in fridge so it's cold and ready to go) 1/2 inch slice of fresh ginger, peeled (optional)

    Orange Smoothie1 can orange juice concentrate, slightly thawed 1 cup milk 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups ice Combine all ingredients, except ice, in a large blender or Vita-Mix and blend until smooth and creamy, taking care the sugar has dissolved and is well incorporated. Add the ice and blend until smooth. Makes approximately three eight-ounce portions.
