Homemade pesto: 1 bunch of basil 2 garlic cloves 1/2 cup olive oil 1/4 cup pine nuts salt and pepper to taste Combine the basil, pine nuts and garlic in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Add the oil and process until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Note: If you don’t have pine nuts, almonds, hazelnut  or walnuts work great.

Pesto Bread - my take included leftover pesto from a jar & a tube of pillsbury simple french bread loaf. unroll loaf, spread pesto. cut into 8 equal sections. grease pan and place in like a cinnamon bun. bake per instructions. brushed w/butter when i pulled them out of the oven.
