The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: A wacky tale of Hitchhiking through space. It's actually making fun of science fiction books, and it's a riot. Crazy twists, and not to mention, Improbabilities :D

Great BBC TV series. Loved this series especially the first two seasons. A good mix of drama and humor.

“The Answer to the Great Question... Of Life, the Universe and Everything... Is... Forty-two,' said Deep Thought, with infinite majesty and calm.” “This must be Thursday,' said Arthur to himself, sinking low over his beer. 'I never could get the hang of Thursdays.”

Take me to Cranford, please. What wonderful characters inhabit that world ... Mr. Carson, 007's M, Dolores Umbridge, Miss Marple, and Doc Martin's auntie.

I couldn't be anymore in love with a book than I am with these^^^ I have laughed, cried, worried and spent many a day dragging arse from having read into the wee hours. I'm about to put myself through it all again in eager anticipation of "Written In My Own Heart's Blood" release. The eight installation of Diana Gabaldon's brilliance....

BBC TV at its finest. Those Brits know how to film great 1800's period pieces like nobody's business. Love love love this series...even more than Downton Abbey.

M*A*S*H: Do I really have to say anything here? One of the most beloved television series of all time. A phenomenal show that was very groundbreaking for its time. Many of the best shows of today owe a lot of credit to this program. IMO this is one of, if not the, best television shows of all time.

British actress Alexandra Bastedo, best known for her role as secret agent Sharron Macready on the British television series "The Champions," was a sex symbol of the 1960s and 1970s, which is pretty clear in this 1968 photo

Read all the books on my book list, this one is a comparison between FB book list and BBC book list of classics to read
