modge podge a map to a lampshade- instead, I used sheet music and a tapered square lamp shade (which I don't recommend using). I suggest spraying the map or music to the lampshade BEFORE modge podging to reduce wrinkles and to make the paper adhere permanently to the lampshade
Now that I've been surfing so many DIY blogs, I think I could actually do this.. all I'd need is some Modge Podge :)
Handmade wooden map buttons. They are perfect for scattering on destination-themed wedding tables; card toppers; decorating a parcel; jewelery-making and much more.
Turn coaster upside down on file folder and trace. Cut out template. Trace template onto decorative paper and cut out. Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to coaster and back of paper. Adhere paper to coaster and press out bubbles, starting at the center and working outward. Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to top of papered coaster. Let dry. Done!
