This is brilliant (why didn't I think of it?) Would be great to do this on the interior doors of an old armoire (or a closet) -- that way my wrapping paper won't become an enticing toy for kitty...
Wrapping paper tends to form precarious piles that inevitably topple when you go to grab that lone birthday pattern from the bottom. Storing gift wrap vertically means you can hide it in skinny corner or closet, and a garment bag keeps everything neatly corralled.
I am totally doing this! Storing wrapping paper is such a pain - the rolls are all different lengths and some can't fit into certain storage containers if they are too long. I'll probably hang them up in my garage, but so much better than those stupid containers!
Store Wrapping Paper in a Garment Bag - 150 Dollar Store Organizing Ideas and Projects for the Entire Home
This is genius! I already put holiday cards and napkins, etc. Into a gift bag associated with the past events celebration, but the bags, until now, have been set upright on top shelves of closets. THIS idea would also allow quick access to holiday supplies for gift giving, not just hold memories. Plus, it would put items within reach!
