Kool-Eggs dyed with Kool-Aid. Great idea! No vinegar needed, just mix a packet of Kool-Aid with 2/3 C Water & dunk the eggs until they are the right color. The article suggests putting in less Kool-Aid & more water for the the PURPLE Kool-Aid because it will turn the egg a dark gray really quickly. Good to know. Happy Easter Kool-Eggs!!!!
Packets of Kool Aid 1 c of Water per packet Hard Boiled Eggs cover your work surface. Fill a small container w/ 1 C water. Whatever container you use, be sure you can completely cover egg w/ water. For ea color 1 C water per one packet of Kool Aid. Empty packet into water & stir to dissolve. Place the egg in dye & soak 3-5 min. Rotate sides w/a spoon for even coloring. Remove and let dry.
