Books can actually make a space feel larger when used as decor. They are also easy to find, inexpensive to purchase, and can tell a sweet story. #diy #design #tips

love everything about this site...especially this mud room. I need to figure out how to make a mud room in this house

Entryway...love the storage, and bench. They built this themselves! I would do everything but the top cubbies, it's too high so I'd never use it. Maybe mount some art there instead.

Front door do similar bench from one end to other, maybe few shelves for purses, and no hooks, just a mirror with decor shelf above. Neutral grey tile. Shoes under bench. Check if electrical outlet. If so have one shelf out more height of hall table for mood lighting lamp, hold guests keys, etc.

mud room-- I don't like the way this one looks but I like the idea of each person having their own space in the "mud room" that way everyone can have their space that they have to keep as tidy as they feel necessary (so I can have my clean space and quit nagging my husband to clean up all his stuff!)

O.M.F.G. L.O.V.E- I wish I had this much room in my entry way. Mine is just big enough for the door to open and not hit the wall.

Exactly what I am picturing for my dream entryway... one stop drop off & organization for all that stuff you drop as soon as you hit the door!!

I love the idea of each person having their own compartments for coats, shoes, mitts/hats, etc.
