U.S. has 3900% more sun than Germany, yet Germany produces 6000% more solar power than the U.S.. It's time the U.S. ENDED the subsidies to the oil, gas, and coal industries and transferred them to the RENEWABLE ENERGY industry! Why does the U.S. always seem to be BACKWARDS on everything???? (Hint: follow the money)

Germany has transformed and innovated its Energy & Economy. We need to change our power sources away from polluting sources. The only reason we're not is because rich oil & coal interests lobby to block that. They don't want to lose their golden goose. We are stuck in the past. #Future #Energy #Jobs

In America, lobbyists are constantly trying to convince us that alternative energy just isn't a viable option. Meanwhile, in Germany, they have permanently shut down 8 of their 17 nuclear power plants. The rest of them will be shut down by 2022... Where do you think they are getting their electricity from?

Types of Renewable Energy. The United States currently relies heavily on coal, oil and natural gas for its energy. Fossil Fuels are nonrenewable, that is, they draw on finite resources that will eventually dwindle, becoming too expensive or too environmentally damaging to retrieve, In contrast, renewable energy resources are constantly replenished and will never run out.

American-style capitalism and the human instinct for empathy and compassion do not play well together.

We must admit our mistakes and embrace the needed change. The auto industry or the oil conglomerates can't fix it but your decisions can.
