love this used this last year as a spring board for a 2nd grade lesson. Looked at what regions of Africa giraffes live, looked at patterns found in those regions and used those in our spots using pen. Then used crayon and watercolor and learned about Fauvism; the wild beasts Matisse. Love how they came out and the kids made so many connections.
