Shari Lewis & Lambchop. Shari Lewis (Jan 17, 1933 – Aug 2, 1998) was an ventriloquist, puppeteer, and children's television show host, most popular during the 1960s and 1990s. She was best known as the original puppeteer of Lamb Chop. When Lewis appeared before Congress in 1993 to testify in favor of protections for children's television, Lamb Chop was granted permission to speak. Lamb Chop's passionate, well-informed and vivid testimony made an indelible impression on the Nation's leaders.

I remember Bob's Big Boy in the San Fernando Valley.There were three we would go to on Wednesday Cruise Night in the mid 60's. Canoga Park Bob's, then cruse Van Nuys Blvd. to Van Nuys Bob's, then back to Balboa Bob's on Balboa Blvd. to hang out on the grass in front until you got a table. Loved their Bob's Big Boy Hamburger, French fries dipped in their Roquefort Dressing and a Coke.
