Rewarding kids with things they get to do instead of things they get to have. When they do something good, they pick from the jar and get things like to stay up a little later or play outside a little longer etc. Cute idea!
Make your family movie night an event! It creates motivation with the little ones to be on their best behavior, and everyone gets a excited for some family time. This could be a fun "invite" to date night too!
Reward Jar Coupons, when you want to recognize your kids for a job well done, for doing more than expected, or for just being themselves. You can use all of the coupons, or only the ones you think they’ll like best. Just print them, cut them out, put them in a jar, and let your kids reach in to choose their coupon.
Uh Oh Jar - LOVE this idea. It was getting hard always sending someone to their room or to the corner. Nothing seemed to change - but now...I'm making a consequence jar like this. Whining? Pull out a consequence. Talking back? Pull out a consequence. Not picking up your things? Pull out a consequence, maybe you'll get "Your lucky day. No consequence THIS TIME."
